Graypower is the partnership of me, myself and I, Stephanie Gray and I have been building sites since 1998.   Some sites have gone to ground zero due to different factors i.e. client changing his occupation, not making the sales expected from their site etc. etc.

Unfortunately simply having a website will alone not get your product "out there" this is why I have devoted a page entirely to marketing your site.   Whilst considering if having your own website will be a viable thing for you I encourage you to read the data that is available for you to read on this site.   Should any of this confuse you please do not hesitate to contact me with any queries, I will be most happy to assist you.

The majority of my clients are people who like myself started out being terrified of our computers and simply learnt as we went along, and I believe that my clients are very happy to have someone that they can call if something is wrong with theirs.   I am aware that some ISP's can get irritated by calls from clients because their settings in their emails have tripped out, and I am more than happy to spend a few minutes on the phone assisting my clients.

So - where to start? There are four main areas to setting up a website:-

When computing, whatever happens, behave as though you meant it to happen.   When you get to the point where you really understand your computer, it's probably obsolete.   The first place to look for information is in the section of the manual where you least expect to find it.   When the going gets tough, upgrade.  For every action, there is an equal and opposite malfunction.

To err is human - to blame your computer for your mistakes is even more human, it is downright natural.

He who laughs last probably made a back-up.

If at first you do not succeed, blame your computer.

A complex system that does not work is invariably found to have evolved from a simpler system that worked just fine.   The number one cause of computer problems is computer solutions.   A computer program will always do what you tell it to do, but rarely what you want to do.
