What is hosting?

Hosting is the practice of storing your website on a server, so that it is viewable on the internet. Most SME's will ' rent' space and some of the resources of a server. The hard disk space of the server is then used to store all of the files that make up the website.

A domain name is your address on the internet. It allows people to find your website quickly. Your chosen name should be as short as possible, easy to spell and memorable. With a domain name you can also have your own

e-mail account allowing you to send and receive e-mail with addresses such as "info@graypower.net.au" or "sales@graypower.net.au"

 
What methods of payment do you accept?

You can pay for your order using PayPal (credit card), cheque, postal order, bank transfer or by cash (registered post only).
 
Will I be able to upgrade my account at a later date?

Yes, you can upgrade your account to a different hosting package at any time.   Just email us and we will upgrade your account for you.
 
How does your 30 day guarantee work?

Should you decide within 30 days not to continue hosting your site with Graypower for whatever reason, then we will refund you your money and close your account.
 
What is a control panel and what is cPanel?

Every hosting account has a private area which you can access via your web browser. It allows you to change various settings, set up and check email and view your web site statistics etc. This is known as your control panel. cPanel is the name of the software that runs the control panel.
